Wednesday

Dull & cold start to the day

We then set off for Falmouth to buy a new carpet for the downstairs lounge - sadly as we arrived we realised that Tilly had had anaccident in the back of the car - fortuntely we managed to clear it up and go into Trago for the carpet where by coincidence we bumped into the carpet fitter so all was done easily. Sadly we then had to come straight home as we were worried that Tilly was going to repeat her problem.
The tanker RFA Tiderace she was constructed in South Korea by commercial builders, but is being brought to a Naval dockyard in Falmouth where it will be fitted with weapons, armour, and other modifications to make it ready to accompany Britain's most powerful warships in the field
