Thursday

Early morning walk again - just cloudy and cool
Home they came to say goodbye to our visitors
Later I went down to Lidl and heard a a massive crash as I walked into the store - when I got back to the car I saw this - they had been emptying one of the bottle banks - oops !
Gry Maritha on her way back to Penzance
RNLI Penlee Lifeboat on the way out to meet a SAR helicopter for an exercise - hadn't got time to go further round towards Mousehole
So I stopped off at Longrock - it was extremely cold and windy
As you can see !

Scillonian III heading out to allow Gry Maritha onto Lighthouse Pier to unload

A couple of Kite surfers enjoying the wind
Getting further away but you can see the winchman on the way down

Gry Maritha unloading on Lighthouse Pier
Got back into the car as my hands were seizing up - took this through the windscreen  - good to see the flags flying on The Mount to indicate they are open
Quick walkies up the hill before the expected rain arrived
You can see the rain coming down over the hills behind The Mount
