Tuesday --Scilly day 2

The superb view down the Tresco Channel as we set off to walk around The Garrison
Sea King just leaving St Agnes
The arch underneath the Garrison Wall

We walked along the road and then through the Nature Trail to Old Town - and had Meringues and tea/coffee at Old Town Cafe which was heaving as the old Tolman Cafe is no more and the new venture (above) sadly does not offer the same kind of simple but hearty fair that they have in the past - for most of us Sandwiches/cake and salad/soup etc are fine
We then walked along the back of Old Town Bay - always some stone stacks here
Then along King Edwards Road and I had my first ever sighting of a Hare - well Jim says it was !
We then walked back down into Hugh Town - bought ice creams and sat and enjoyed the view for a while
Not a bad view
