All the windows looked like this this morning - I've cleaned the ones all along the balcony, but the rest will have to either get washed by rain or wait until the window cleaner visits
Rather cloudy but Jim said it was warm as he walked the dogs up the hill

At least it wasn't windy
 Afternoon walkies
Looking brighter to the West
Still a little bit splashy out on the Greeb
High Tide
Waves with lots of sand in the water- making them look a little brown
Nice sky as we headed home in a very light drizzle

Went out on to the balcony and noticed that yet again the violent wind had managed to blow all the bits off the Cedar tree into a neat pile
Rather a nice oriental looking sunset
Look what's arriving on Friday evening/Saturday - the darker orange means more wind
The expected swell- oh dear !

Monday - a visit from ex-hurricane Ophelia

A few hours after the wind arrived - a few photos through the window - before it gets blasted by salt spray

The rocks off Maen-dhu Point getting a bashing

Morning dog walk - wind was getting worse and worse
I said that The Greeb rocks needed a power wash

Couldn't stay long out on the point and Wooster and Tilly were on their leads for safety so it was tricky

After I got home I went out onto the balcony - briefly ! Wild sea driving up Cudden Point, lifted by the wind
Noticed that the barbecue was at a cheeky angle despite being roped to the wall on two metal hooks
We decided to take the dogs to the top end of Porthleven to see the waves and walk the dogs at the same time
Just amazing looking beyond the entrance to Porthleven Harbour to Trewavas Head
A huge splash onto the other side of Cudden Point

That is the end of the old road that went all the way to Loe Bar - I think you can see how part of it came to be washed away

Wooster enjoying a mad moment - Pointers and wild wind  ! !
The people staying in these holiday lets are either enjoying the spectacle or possibly a little scared

Home again and Cudden Point was still covered in white water

Sunday - the day before Ophelia !

It was supposed to be sunny today, but again just a little brightness
Bit misty looking over the bay
Wooster is thrilled as he's found another ball
A little blue sky

If we'd known that this was going to be the best weather of the day, we'd have walked further - as it was around lunchtime the mizzle arrived and that was it for the day
