Nice and calm for a Paddle Board class
Jim took the dogs for a quick walk up and back down the hill as it was slightly drizzly
Meanwhile I popped into Penzance - Little Egret in the harbour again
Scillonian III sitting on the bottom
Gry Maritha and Mali Rose in the wet dock
Only small boats left in the harbour
When I got home I noticed Navigator Phoenix leaving the bay heading for Vlissingen (NL)
Afternoon walkies started under a dark cloud
Very calmly watched us walk past
Better end to the day than we were expecting

The black poo bag thrower is back again - we actually had one thrown up the path to the garden gate

Another shrub in flower at the wrong time - Chaenomeles or Japanese Quince
Wooster got there before me again
Nice view !

Then suddenly the Starlings arrived
and settled in the Cedar Tree again
Bit dark for the camera

 Just after sunrise this morning
They're a hardy bunch these gig rowers !
Some nice blue sky
But rather grey around the edges
Sadly our day suddenly went downhill when I noticed that Tilly's eye with the cataract  was looking rather red and swollen and shortly afterwards she failed to make it to the garden before having an accident - so off to the Vets we went. She has an ulcerated eye and bladder infection - something she's rather prone to. So we have eye cream and tablets and she seems fine
I walked Wooster up to Ednovean and onwards to the Farm Shop on the Helston Road for a loaf as Jim's struggling with his digestion and we thought different bread might help
Up at Ednovean Farm it's not so much hedgehogs under the bonfire you have to worry about, but Spud Cat on the fire

Rather an odd light

We managed to disturb this Common Buzzard that had been down on the field
Looking through the wires
Sadly as we walked on we disturbed a flock of Lapwings
Bet the flock of Finches love this field of Teasels
We turned around and headed back
Wooster doing OK on his own
Buzzard was still there
Cheeky peek through the gates of Ednovean House
Took the rest as we walked along to Trebarvah
Wolf Rock in the orange glow again

I was really hoping that the Starlings would fly lower down
They were all over Perranuthnoe again

That was it - not the day I was expecting, but Tilly seems OK the the tablets will do the trick
