Thursday

A very different day today - dull, but still warm

Rather misty as well
I went up to Oamaru Barn to read the meters and say good bye !
Sad, but as it happens it came at the right time and I'm sure it will carry on being a lovely holiday destination
Wooster and I went down to the field for a toddle - this is part of Jim's wild bit - the Goldfinches will love the Teasels
As you can see Jim's photos of the Echiums showed the best bits - poor things - but with luck they will drop some seeds and at least we still have some Hottentot Figs down here
I went off to Truro to see the Consultant and  Jim took Wooster for his afternoon walkies
Still rather  grey
Turnstones in lovel Summer plumage - not sure about the others
Boat Cove
Cormorant
Good to see little Fern back from her holidays
Wooster checking the field

Wednesday

Another beautiful morning, but no wind today

Wonderful calm bay
Scillonian III  just reversing out of Lighthouse Pier
Off she goes - must have been a super trip

Love this time of year with the Campanula growing in the granite walls
Penzance wall
Think at least one of the Crowlets has fledged today - they're all clambering about the tree with little flights
Afternoon walkies

Shags on a rock called The Frenchman
Boat Cove

Looking wonderful out at Maen-dhu Point
A touch of hide and seek

Such a happy little dog

Beach looking OK now
 Spotted this just after sunset
Nice moon as well

Tuesday

Spotted the white sail of Brixham Sailing Trawler Leader crossing the bay
Fine but hazy with a chilly Northerly wind

Morning walkies
Cloud out to the West

Marine Discovery's Sheawater II came storming across the bay with the wind behind her
Where's me dinner ? ?
Think it said Tiger Lilly
Popped up to the garage and saw this little sweetie Austin 7 Chummy
They brought it down from Yorkshire on a trailer and are enoying driving it on the narrow lanes

Looking pretty up there

Oh dear - when it rains it's going to be nasty
Handsome boy

Always love this wall of Mexican Fleabane
Can't remember the name but what a beauty
Sadly our Oamaru Barn visitors have had to leave for home, so I popped up to check all was well - it's still mine until Thursday
